Outside My Window is a picture book adaptation of Disney's Rapunzel-inspired movie, Tangled, and is written in extremely simplistic English. According to Scholastic, this "Step into Reading: Step Two" book is ideal for preschoolers, kindergartners, and first graders who are reading with help and can handle basic vocabulary, short sentences, and simple stories.
Because of the extreme simplicity of the language, some of the nuance and fun of the film is lost; otherwise, however, it's a solid picture book adaptation that should be ideal for fans of the movie. I do, however, recommend seeing the movie first.
