My choice for this week is December Dog (Calendar Mysteries, #12) by Ron Roy, which will be released September 23rd 2014 by Random House Books for Young Readers. Oddly, Goodreads has a blurb for December Dog despite lacking one for November Night. Here it is:In the twelfth book of the Calendar Mysteries, an early chapter-book mystery series featuring the younger siblings of the A to Z Mysteries detectives, Bradley, Brian, Nate, and Lucy find a lost puppy on Christmas Eve. The poor dog was meant to be a present for someone. It has a ribbon with a tag around its neck, but the tag is ripped. Can the kids find out who bought the puppy or who was supposed to receive it?
Since I assume this is going to be the last Calendar Mysteries book, I expect that in addition to involving Christmas, it's also going to at least mention the fact that Lucy is going to be moving back home. Or perhaps Roy will surprise me and continue the series for another twelve installments. I suppose it's possible!
